THE WINNER IS...COURTNEY!

Last night before T opened his call, we had everyone write down where they thought T would be called to serve his mission.  Miss Courtney called it!  T promised the first letter he wrote would be to  her!

CALLED TO SERVE

Although T's mission call arrived yesterday, he waited until this evening to open it.  He wanted to be surrounded by family and friends.  And that he was!  Our yard was filled to the brim with those who love Taylor.  There were over 70 people who shared this special moment with him.

He was SO excited!
Although he did get a little teary eyed while reading it.

T has been called to serve in the California, San Diego, Spanish Speaking Mission.
He will enter the Mexico City Missionary Training Center on July 24, 2013.

IT CAME!

It finally came today!  Taylor's mission call!
T decided to wait until tomorrow evening to open it.  Tonight is graduation and he wants the opening of his call to be special.  If we wait until tomorrow he can invite family and friends to share the special moment with him..

SATAN- ATTEMPT #3

This evening T and Shane went to have T's blazer inspected.  As they pulled in the parking lot of the inspection station, the front tire literally fell off!  So blessed that Heavenly Father was watching over them and they weren't driving down the freeway going 55 mph.

SATAN - ATTEMPT #2

T has been doing a lot of laundry lately.  Trying to prepare for being on his own.  Somehow this morning he added bleach to the dark load of clothes.  Guess what was in that load?  Most of our church clothes.  Wonder who could have had a hand in that?

AND SO IT BEGINS!

Satan is very mindful of T's desire to carry out the Lord's work.  Whenever T is taking steps to make this happen, Satan unleashes all that he has.  This morning T woke up with this terrible rash.  All over his body!  Along with the rash came a hacking cough and itching.

CELEBRATE

Getting T's mission papers ready has been a much longer and tedious process than we could have ever imagined.  (This was mostly due to T's prior medical issues.) But it has totally been worth it!  Today we finally had everything we needed.

It so happened that today was also our bishop's birthday.  We decided to tie a big ribbon around T's papers and give them to him this evening.
The final step...signing the papers.
The bishop seemed to be just as excited as we were!
